Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (QA SDET) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with QA Engineers, and Software Developers to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks. You will be responsible for enhancing test automation, developing test scripts from scratch, and improving overall testing efficiency. The ideal candidate is a technical leader in automation, passionate about delivering high-quality software and reducing testing cycle times.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts to meet project testing requirements and ensure software quality.
• Design, build, and implement end-to-end regression suites for both UI and API testing.
• Identify high-value manual test cases and convert them into automated tests.
• Work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
• Develop and execute smoke, functional, regression, and integration test suites for UI front-end, API services, and database back-end.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts and application defects, working with developers to identify root causes.
• Ensure the CI/CD pipeline integrates test automation, reducing manual intervention and accelerating release cycles.
• Collaborate with Test Architects and SDET peers to define automation best practices, standards, and strategies.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to high-quality test automation code.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API automation using Cypress
• Hands on experience in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience in REST API or SOAP testing, including hands-on experience with Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL queries and database validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD from QA Automation perspective.
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting skills to analyze automation failures and application issues.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile testing practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
