Mobile Automation Tester

Must Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in developing automation scripts for mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of identifying UI elements using various locator strategies for both Android and iOS.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using:
  • Appium with Java
  • TestNG as the test runner.
  • CI/CD integration with Jenkins
• Ability to understand existing codebases and enhance/maintain them effectively.

Good to Have:

• Experience in web automation using Selenium with Java.
• Exposure to cloud-based device testing platforms like Perfecto.
• Understanding of test execution strategies and reporting mechanisms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, maintainable automation scripts to validate core mobile functionality.
• Execute test scripts across multiple environments and compile execution reports.
• Collaborate with project and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and system setup.
• Analyze execution results, provide recommendations, and raise flags for potential risks.
• Take ownership of script development and deliver within project timelines.
• Actively participate in sprint discussions and contribute to QA planning and estimation.
• Learn and apply performance and functional testing strategies to enhance test coverage.
• Share timely updates, status reports, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of objectives.
