Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Testing Technical Manager to lead our testing team. As a Testing Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of testing, from strategy development to execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing team in the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to ensure alignment on testing priorities and requirements.
• Drive the adoption of automation testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Design and implement performance testing strategies to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, and make recommendations for their adoption as appropriate.
• Analyze test results and provide insights to stakeholders on the quality and stability of the software.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure testing milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to testing activities, escalating issues as needed.
• Champion best practices in testing, including code reviews, unit testing, and test-driven development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 20+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and performance testing.
• Proven track record of leading testing teams and delivering high-quality software products.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are desirable.
