Quality Assurance and Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual testing with hands-on experience in automation practices. This role involves closely collaborating with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and test data.
• Execute manual tests to validate new features and ensure regression coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Work alongside developers and other QA engineers in Agile environments to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Provide feedback on usability, performance, and overall product quality.
• Support continuous integration and deployment efforts through effective testing practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Solid experience in manual testing across various applications and environments.
• Exposure to automation tools and scripting, with an interest in expanding automation coverage.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
