Job Description:

As an Application Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, conduct various tests, and contribute to the overall improvement of our applications user experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to comprehend project requirements and objectives.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform functional, usability, regression, and performance testing on software applications.
Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and inconsistencies.
Work alongside developers to troubleshoot and verify bug fixes.
Create clear and concise bug reports and status reports.
Participate in design and requirement review meetings to provide testing insights.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application testing.
Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and strategies.

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) would be advantageous.
Experience with test management tools and version control systems is a plus.
Basic understanding of programming concepts and databases is beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
