Test Lead

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Quality assurance engineer to join our dynamic technology team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in all facet of testing – Functional, Non-Functional, End-to-End and Test Automation will be critical to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Have outstanding Quality Assurance capabilities, be hands-on, positive and can-do attitude
• Review and evaluate the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities and schedule
• Define, track and report quality metrics across the program providing actionable insights and initiate best practices for quality
• Leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers and assisting in task deliveries as per team manifesto
• work closely with development, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business goals
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on test objectives and priorities
• Come up with innovations/processes which team can get benefit from
• Lead in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices
• Provide regular, detailed status reports on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered and bug fixed
• Responsible for risk management and the respective mitigation plan

Technical Skills:

• Strong QA background in defining and leading effective QA processes
• Strong business and technology acumen
• proven track record of researching , conceiving, and implementing and optimized automated solutions across test levels and type
• Experienced in End to End Testing lifecycle of product
• Have experience of designing and developing automation framework
• Have experience with both functional and non-functional testing, manual and automation testing
• Comprehend Test Setup
• good knowledge of programming language like Java, Python, SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Administration of testing tools/environments
• Exposure to Insurance domain is a plus
• experience with performance and security testing will be and added advantage
• Knowledge of JIRA,XRAY is added advantage

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software testing
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing end-to-end quality efforts (Functional and Automation) and managing a team of QA engineers
• Bachelors degree or MCA in computer science, information Systems or equivalent discipline/experience
